I have a credit card problem. Any advice?
OK, here’s the deal. I graduated from high school in 2007. I went away for college for my first year (I’m still a student. I just transferred home). My dad and I set up an arrangement for the first year of college until I was able to find work (I wasn’t, thus one of the reasons I moved back home) and he set me up with a VISA with his credit union. Well, I (we) missed a couple of payments. I don’t know if he and I had some kind of misunderstanding, but he made most payments, but failed to make 2 or 3 on time. That’s kind of irrelevant now. I payed that card and closed it because the credit union advised me to do so. I have one other card that is for Zales that I used to buy an engagement ring and have since paid it off. I’d like to get another general credit card, but was denied by Chase Bank for a rewards credit card. I went in and talked to someone at the bank to see if there was anything I could do. The lady pretty much told me no, and that it was advisable that I wait another 6 months before I apply again. Is there anything I can do, or is the bank teller correct? She suggested that I apply for a Chase Slate card that people with not much or bad credit use to build credit. What should I do?

If you had this card for almost 3 years and only missed two or three payments over that time it is possible that the late payments are not the reason you aren’t being approved for a rewards card. Having 2 credit cards with low balances for two to three years is considered limited credit; especially if you had 2 or 3 late payments on one or both of those cards within the last year or two. Most lenders won’t approve someone for a "rewards" or exclusive type of account unless you have an excellent credit score with several lines of credit and excellent assets and income. I’ve seen people with a 740 credit score get turned down for American Express cards because they have average income and/or assets with only two or three lines of credit. they have come into our yard, tore up our fence and tore up the other fence to the chicken coop and killed 12 of our 18 chickens which cost us about 10.00 each PLUS the eggs we sell.

we dont use an electric fence because of our own dog he likes to visit the chicks and we dont want him shocked tryign to sniff them through the fence not to mention my little nieces and nephews like to run out there and play with the birdies i dont want them shocked

Since you seem to be down to your last never (understandably, of course) maybe you’d be willing to take the animals to the animal shelter…

Tell them you found these poor, helpless animals all alone outside and just can not keep them….(it’s obviously a lie….shhh)

They should, then, find loving homes that will keep the poor things INSIDE where they can be apart of the family, loved, etc. instead of trying to find entertainment (and apparently food) by killing the neighbors chickens (and tearing up fences in the process)…..

Then once you have them either cage em or (if your desprate) ship em off to the nearby animal shelter. If they return then just ship em to Russia or something.

It’s definatly not your fault.. maybe you could put up some kind of electric fencing so that when the dog or cat touches it, it will give them a shock, but not enough to seriously harm them.. If you ever catch them on your propery maybe spray them with a hose to scare them, maybe if you scare them enough, they won’t want to come back. But I think maybe a fence they cant get through would be best.. I know you’ve replaced it heaps of times tho.. maybe barbed wire?

One thing that may work… but it is kind of a long shot, is to get some manure from some kind of large predator… like a lion, or a bear. I have heard that some nurseries carry it, or if you have a zoo near by they may be able to help you.
It may sound crazy, but some people use it to deter animals such as deer from coming into their gardens. The animal smells a predator, get scared, and leave what ever the poo is around alone.
Some places also sell plants that dogs or cats HATE the smell of. I had a problem with a cat getting in my garden. I planted a couple of the "chase away" plants in the garden… and it worked like a charm! I don’t have a sense of smell, but my husband said that the plants smelled slightly like skunk when you rubbed the leaves.
Lastly… an electric fence. You can buy electric fence supplies at just about any local farm supply store. If you run one or two wires just on the inside of your fence, or around your chicken yard it will not take long for the dog to learn to leave them alone!. It is non-lethal and very effective. It will sting for just a few seconds, but the dog will be just fine. I have been shocked by an electric fence myself several times, and never been permanently damaged.
Other than that, I would ensure you have a "no trespassing" sign up first. With the video you have of the dog breaking into your fence, I would take the owners to court to get your money back for the Chickens that have been killed. Some times the only way to get a point across to some people to to hit them where it hurts…. in the wallet.

I really feel for you – this is a terrible situation to be in. There’s nothing worse that people who won’t take responsibility for their animals.

I could NEVER in a million years ever shoot an animal either, so I sympathise fully.

Perhaps you could try explaining to your neighbour that as you are unwilling to use a gun to defend your property, you will instead be considering a visit to the pound for a guard dog if they don’t keep their pets under control? If it comes to it, you perhaps even borrow a friends dog to let loose within your own property.

This way you can polietly explain to your neighbour that you will not take reposnsibility for your animlas defending their territory, and if their dog/cat ventures into your yard again, you cannot be held responsible for what a guard dog will do.

No matter what happens, I feel really bad for you. Generally the threat of lawsuits doesn’t tend to work with people this irresponsible and feckless. I hope you find a soultion

I thought you just had a regular small fence that the nipped at and digged under. Now thats I see the additional information about the fence I know It’s completely the fault of the owners. Anyways, go to the owners at confront them about it, tell them about all the chickens they killed and eggs, and tell them how much everything cost *hint *hint* so they pay for it, haha. Show the security camera tape to the animal control and hopefully they will come pick the dogs up.

I am mentally sick , not sick very very sick. Reasons are many .. I am feeling like a loser since so many years .. seriously so many years and some people say i am still so childish.. my brain is same of what is of a child huh !! for them i am not mature , which i do agree now.
I have been in school , I was very much of a loser .. crying alone when kids used to call names , hurt me , or even comment on my looks.This continued till i reached my college and ended up with it. I fucking take things too seriously this is my habbit but i cant control it , I have made 3-4 best friends which are far better then others and they are not near me we are living in different countries these days , I reached my university and i am about to graduate , though i did’nt my all friends did but i did’nt cause I am a loser , I find no reason to fight back and become a WINNER people proved me i am a loser .. huh I cant answer some guys back when they insult me .. and the worst part is my 10-12 Friends find only me to USE in thier jokes huh !! WTF .. have you ever seen a guy like me ? And what I do still love them huh cause i have no one to love now .. so meet them but they are too busy with thier family in jobs they dont give a fuck where am I who am I . My girlfriend will i dont have one may be i dont have career thats why . I cant find a job now .. rejected 3-4 times waoo cool.. Are you a nice drawer? Maybe a great singer? You can start singing on youtube, or become an artist!

Don’t go to university just because you think you have to. University education is not for everyone. You can go to a community college or another work opportunity and do something YOU’RE good at.

Go visit a counselor at your school to talk to about your problems. I am sure they will help you out.

going to a gym would allow you to release your negative energy and you will get a nice body out of it too:)

once you have cleared your mind start a hobby, or volunteer…volunteering gets your foot in the door and lets people see what a hard worker you are. volunteering also helps others and in return will make you happy because you made someones day.

I would say your not a loser, but i’m sorry, i can’t. For theatre art’s class i have to call every person i know who smokes a loser. Yess, its odd, i know. But seriously, DON"T SMOKE, it makes you feel worse after, and think about what your doing to other people. Just a little while ago i had to go to the hospital for 11 days because i was near some one who was smoking. I missed so much fun stuff. Life sucks. Life really sucks. And i wasn’t ever that close to the loser!

Anyways, enough with that.

If you feel like that then maybe you should take a vacation. Just be by yourself for a little while, it worked for me.

And i know you don’t want to go to a psychiatrist,and i understand why, but maybe there is something mentally wrong with you. Like a chemical imbalance or something. My cousin had that, and he was really depressed, and then they found out why, and gave him pills, and now hes not depressed. You don’t have to tell anybody. Is there a counselor in your university? You can always talk to them. Its private and confidential, no one has to no. And it can make you feel a lot better.

In a year, a week, a minute or in a single heartbeat two souls are enthralled. Everyone desires a fairytale love story. It is mission impossible to find the person, this extreme passionate mutual feeling. As I lay down on the green grass, listening attentively to the secret whispers of the wind, a story started. When the sun was at its highest point, two young strangers bumped into each other. It was a beautiful warm Saturday in a park full of big, old trees and the most beautiful flowers. As if it was intentionally decorated for that sole reason, for those strangers. The park was full of all sorts of stories, memorable ones and common ones, which desperately wanted to be told. Laughter and smiles covered the true lives of these individuals, all those noises where all lies. Meanwhile, a conversation bloomed but suddenly interrupted by the boy, who rushed as if a pack of wolves was behind him. The girl stood there as if the prettiest symphony was ever written and she was the only allowed to listen. Her innocence shined through her and did not understand that the world goes on. The girl walked back to meet with her friends, who desperately desired to play all games available in the fair. That day was the longest day I have ever lived. Life, for me, was a movie running before my eyes. It is spectacular the vividness of children playing all sorts of games and how old aged people yearned for that second chance of youthfulness. The girl, at times, drifted away searching for the boy, hoping for that luck, destiny or unknown factor to make that fortune happen again. Minutes were as Japanese kamikaze achieving their ultimate goals, finalizing a great and joyful day for many. As the sun went to sleep, a girl was left joyless. The park suddenly became the loneliest place to walk in. As the day progressed the girl never seemed to wake herself from what she considered the perfect moment. She felt somewhat alone and confused of how easily dreams and expectations are crushed. As I observed her, I realized she would live in that moment forever, as if her life began with that collision and ended when he parted. She never heard from him again she never dared to ask anyone. It could be deciphered that she prayed and wished anxiously. Her eyes unraveled the sadness her heart endured after that meeting. It spoke about how sad it was to be alone and how hard it was to forget. That memory came back without even wanting too. A lost dream it is, and that sorrow that now surrounds her heart now commands her every move
